Valentine’s Day Cozy Mysteries

Last month, I finished some of the Christmas cozies that I’d checked out but hadn’t read. I always overload my To Be Read pile with more books than I can possibly read, kind of like piling my dinner plate too high at an all-you-can-eat smorgasbord because everything looks good and it’s hard to resist. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach. Likewise, when I peruse the book synopses, my eyes are bigger than my schedule. Too many books and too little time.

This month, I am on the hunt for cozy mysteries that are set on or around Valentine’s Day. When I searched the internet, I unearthed a treasure trove of titles. There are multiple lists of Valentine’s Day cozies. For your convenience, a few of the links have been pasted below:

I am currently listening to an audiobook recording of A Victim at Valentine’s, Book #5 in the Secret Bookcase Mystery Series by Ellie Alexander. And I’m simultaneously reading Killer Cupid, Book #29 in the Melanie Travis Canine Mystery series by Laurien Berenson. Next on my list is At Death’s Dough, the latest book in the Deep Dish Mystery series by Mindy Quigley and an Agatha Award nominee. The book lists provide a nice assortment of Valentine’s-themed mysteries to investigate, and they often lead to the discovery of some new-to-me cozy mystery series. Can’t wait to start perusing the lists and adding a few more titles to my towering TBR pile!
